PURPOSE: To continually inform a correct quantity of residual sensitive sheets even if they are replaced, by providing a read means which discriminates a mark for a main unit.
CONSTITUTION: When a magazine 6 is removed, a residual quantity data of a sensitive sheet 5 just before the removal is stored in an address discriminated by a mark 24 of said magazine 6 of an involatile RAM22 of the data. And next, if the same or a separate magazine 6 is mounted to a device main unit, a read unit 25 reads the mark 24 of said magazine 6, and the read address of the involatile RAM22 is determined from the read result of said read unit. Accordingly, the residual quantity data of the sensitive sheet in said magazine 6 is read to be output as a preset value from a control circuit 21 to a counter 29. Consequently, the counter 20 is preset to the residual quantity of the sensitive sheet 5 in the mounted magazine 6 and counted down by a pulse from an encoder 19.
