Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for controlling print data by using appropriate user information.SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: reception means which receives print data; acquisition means which acquires authority information and owner information that are attached to the print data received by the reception means; storage means which stores the print data received by the reception means; operation means which receives authentication information from a user; determination means which determines whether to use the authority information of a user identified by the owner information acquired by the acquisition means or to use authority information of the user authenticated by the authentication information received by the operation means, for printing the print data stored in the storage means; and printing means which prints the print data stored in the storage means on the basis of authority information in accordance with the determination result determined by the determination means.
