Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required for initialization and to suppress the reduction of convenience for a user.
SOLUTION: When a power source is turned on and power saving is canceled, initialization is performed for each module, and when a communication control part 12 and a modem means 20 are completely initialized, a facsimile service is provided, even when finishing the initialization of the other module in not finished. Services provided by completely initialized modules are successively provided in spite of the state of the other module, so as to provide a scanner service when an image read control part 8 and an image reading means 16 are initialized completely.
