Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which exhibits excellent transfer efficiency over a longer period of time and an intermediate transfer medium used for the same.
SOLUTION: This image forming device has a first image carrying member and the intermediate transfer medium which is transferred with the image formed on the first image carrying member and transfers the transferred image onto a second image carrying member. The surface layer of the intermediate transfer medium contains a binder and the powder dispersed in the binder. The tensile strength of the binder is ≥300kgf/cm2, the elongation thereof is ≥150% and the tensile stress at the time of 100% is ≤250%kgf/cm2.
