Abstract:
To precisely detect the scanning position for the laser beam to make high-speed scanning without requiring complicated circuits.
A banding sensor 20 has photo diodes 21, 22 for detecting the scanning position of the laser beam. The photo diodes 21 is made triangular gradually spreading toward the downstream in the secondary scanning direction, and the photo diodes 22 is made triangular gradually spreading toward the upstream in the secondary scanning direction. A scanning position calculation part 30 detects the displacement of the laser scanning position from a specified position according to an output difference of the photo diodes 21, 22.
