Abstract:
To provide an image forming device which controls discharge operation in response to an operation mode and an initial state of ink discharge.SOLUTION: An image forming device, which forms an image on a recording medium when a user scans, includes an image forming part having a plurality of image forming lines in which image forming portions used for forming an image are arranged, and an image forming line setting part which sets a used image forming line used in forming the image out of the image forming lines.
