Abstract:

To provide an image forming device which facilitates proof control in a printing step.

According to the image forming device, a printer control section 21 of a combination machine 299 receives adjusting parameters (a laser irradiation strength adjusting value, a charging bias adjusting value, a transfer bias adjusting value, a laser writing location adjusting value (main), and a laser writing location adjusting value (sub)) from a PC 1, and automatically create an adjusting parameter set. Next, proof printing is started based on the automatically created adjusting parameter set, and color marks on a belt 226 read out by color sensors 274-1 to 274-4 are sampled, followed by creating color information (concentration information), based on the sampled color marks, to thereby store the color information in a memory 20 and generate a device profile. Next, the corresponding adjusting parameter set, a device file, etc. are written into an RFID tag 701, and proofed information is output.
