Abstract:
To form an image in which a size of a printing point can be changed without mechanically operating a device or a part such as an optical member used for image formation.
A deviation from a target distance is calculated by measuring an actual distance from a laser light source 40 to a print surface 48 with a distance meter 414. Based on the deviation, a calculation apparatus 422 calculates a necessary laser output, and a laser output from the laser light source 40 is changed under control of a laser control device 426. Through the change of the laser output, the deviation of the distance from the laser light source 40 to the print surface 48 is compensated, which enables an image point 410 of a desired size to be formed.
