To provide an image forming device which can manage and reprint print images by the unit of documents.

The image forming device is formed of: an image storage section 121 for storing therein an image and an image ID by relating the former and the latter to each other; a document information storage section 122 for storing therein a document ID and the image ID of the image included in the document; an ID storage section 123 for storing therein ID information obtained by relating the document ID of the printed document and a medium ID of a recording medium in which the image is printed, to each other; a scanner engine 150 for reading out an encoded image obtained by encoding the medium ID, from the recording medium; a detecting section 105 for detecting the medium ID by decoding the medium ID from the encoded image; an ID acquiring section 106 for acquiring the document ID corresponding to the detected medium ID from the ID storage section 123, and acquiring the image ID corresponding to the document ID from the document information storage section 122; an image acquiring section 142 for acquiring all the images corresponding to the acquired image ID from the image storage section 121; and a printer engine 140 for printing out the images.
