Abstract:
To provide an image formation device and an operation method which can secure convenience for a user even when user authentication is not available in a device shared by a plurality of users.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes: an operation panel 60 having a display section 61 for displaying various information for a user; a voice input/output section (voice operation section 70) for receiving an operation input by a user's voice and outputting voice guidance prompting the user to operate; an operation predicting section (control section 10) for detecting that a user near its own device is going to operate its own device; and an operation control section (control section 10) for switching to a user interface suitable for the user on the basis of reaction of the user after the voice guidance output by the voice input/output section prompts voice operation in a state that a panel display by the operation panel 60 is not displayed for the user detected by the operation predicting section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
