To prevent parts from falling down even if an assembly operator and/or an user should apply to the parts by mistake, and provide an image forming device capable of dispensing with complex operations.
In an image forming device equipped with a delivery driving gear (part) 16 supported by a main body frame (main body) 15, and the delivery driving gear 16 is so constituted as to be positioned by means of a snap-fit 16b, each fall regulation rib (fall regulation part) 4c is provided for a roller shaft (engaging member) 4a to be engaged with the driving gear 16 so as to let the falling of the snap fit 16b of the delivery driving gear 16 be regulated by the fall regulation rib 4c of the roller shaft 4a when the roller shaft 4a is engaged with the delivery driving gear 16. By this constitution, even if force should be applied to the delivery driving gear 16 by an assembly operator and/or an user by mistake, the delivery driving gear 16 is prevented from falling down from the main body frame 15 while the snap-fit falls down, and troublesome works such as removing the fallen delivery driving gear 16 and the like can thereby be eliminated.
