Abstract:
To provide an image forming device that prevents an image density from decreasing even in repeated copying or long time use, and steadily supplies a high quality image free from fog, carrier attachment, blotch, etc.
In the image forming device of a cleaner-less system, developer has negatively-chargeable non-magnetic toner and magnetic carrier particle having a resin constituent on its surface. A developer carrier has at least a substrate and a conductive covering layer provided on the substrate. A frictional charge quantity of the magnetic carrier after the non-magnetic toner is removed from the surface of the developer carrier is equal to or less than 0.01 mC/kg.
