Abstract:
To eliminate loss of space which results from a waste developer container provided for a cleaner for the periphery of a second image carrier, to miniaturize the device, and to save space, in the color image forming device that has the first and second image carriers and does not provide the first image carrier with a waste developer container.
Secondary-transfer residual developer on the second image carrier 5 is returned onto the first image carrier 1. Further, the secondary- transfer residual developer, returned on the first image carrier 1, is used as black developer.
