To provide an image forming device capable of fixing image recorded on a recording medium by a fixing means using a heating roller and capable of preventing occurrence of waving and wrinkle in the recording medium after fixing image and forming image having excellent quality on both of a surface and a rear surface when printing on both of the surface and rear surface.
This image forming device is provided with a recording means for recording image on the recording medium using particles including a coloring material, the fixing means for fixing the image recorded on the recording medium by nipping and conveying the recording medium on which image is recorded by the recording means by a pair of fixing rollers whose at least either is the heating roller, and a guide member having a curved guide face having substantially the same shape as a face formed when a part passing through the pair of fixing rollers of the recording medium immediately before it is delivered from the pair of fixing rollers is suspended from the pair of fixing rollers by its self-weight.
