An image forming device 1 comprises: a housing 70 accommodating an image forming portion 1B for forming an image on paper; a paper storing stand 40 having a grip 45 to be gripped and drawn out by a user, accommodated in the housing so as to be freely drawn out and storing paper supplied to the image forming portion 1B; and a grip cover 90 which is detachably installed on the paper storing stand so as to cover the grip, on which the user puts his hand when lifting the housing, and which regulates drawing of the paper storing stand from the housing by the installation thereof.
