Abstract:

To provide an image forming device capable of suppressing stains on recording media when performing borderless printing.

When an image forming device is activated, a control part determines whether or not an image to be transferred on a sheet member P is a borderless image on the basis of image data inputted into an exposure device, in step 100. If it is determined that the image is a borderless image, the process proceeds to step 200. In step 200, the control part controls a heating roll to lower the heating temperature of the heating roll compared with the case that the image to be transferred on the sheet member is not a borderless image. Thus, fixation at a lower heating temperature of the heating roll can suppress toner melting. This suppresses an offset phenomenon generated in borderless printing. Thus, stains on the sheet member P is suppressed in borderless printing.
