Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of suppressing breakage of a recording sheet when removing the recording sheet jammed in the state of being held by fixation rollers.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: a body frame 10 having an opening 11 on one end; a process cartridge 50 which is attachable/detachable to/from the body frame 10 through the opening 11 and has a photoreceptor drum 51 carrying a developer; a fixation device 60 which is provided on the other end side of the body frame 10 and the upper side of the photoreceptor drum 51, has a heating roller 61 and a pressure roller 62 brought into pressure contact with the heating roller 61, and thermally fixes a developer image on a sheet S passing through a pressure-contact spot between the heating roller 61 and the pressure roller 62; and a cover member 400 which is provided so as to cover the lower side of the fixation device 60 and extends toward the opening 11 on the one end side from the other end side. The cover member 400 includes a first roller part 67 which is provided in the end of the other end side on the upstream side in the conveyance direction of the sheet S with respect to the pressure-contact spot.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
