Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress excessive passing-through of unnecessary objects from a cleaning member.SOLUTION: An image formation device comprises: an image holding body that has an image formed on a surface, and holds the image; an image formation device that forms an image on a surface of the image holding body; a cleaner that has a tabular cleaning member having one end projected toward the surface of the image holding member, and contacting with the surface thereof, and removes unnecessary objects from the surface with a relative movement of the cleaning member with respect to the surface; a detection unit that detects a state change causing increase in passing-through of the unnecessary object in one end; and a state change unit that, when the state change is detected by the detection unit, changes a state of the image formation device, and at least as a result, causes an angle formed with the cleaning member and the image holding body surface in the one end to get close to verticalness.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
