Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that enables a user to appropriately adjust image quality.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: image forming means that forms an image on a recording material; reading means that reads a document conveyed to a reading surface; display means that displays an operation screen for an operator; image quality adjustment means that performs image quality adjustment processing; and determination means that performs dirt determination of determining whether a dirt read by the reading means is larger than a predetermined threshold. When receiving instructions for the image quality adjustment processing from the operator, the image forming apparatus executes the image quality adjustment processing after the dirt determination performed by the determination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
