Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration in which a current path flowing to a ground potential is provided in a shaft core of a transfer roller, a voltage having the same polarity as that of a toner is applied to an opposing roller, and a charge is supplied from a power supply member to a transfer rotor, and suppress dirt on the transfer roller without reducing productivity in continuously outputting images.SOLUTION: A secondary transfer outer roller 25 forming a secondary transfer part T2 with an intermediate transfer belt 12 is applied with a secondary transfer voltage from a secondary transfer power source 40. The secondary transfer outer roller 25 is supplied with a current from an external power source 50 via a feeding roller 26. A DC controller provided in an image forming apparatus controls the secondary transfer voltage according to a change in electric resistance of the secondary transfer outer roller 25 on the basis of a detection signal from a voltage detection part 90 detecting a voltage applied from the external power source 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
