Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device which improves visibility of a sheet bundle discharged without post-processing.SOLUTION: A CPU circuit part (800) receives a carried sheet, controls drive of a sheet return paddle (41), a rack part 45a, a rear edge regulation part 45b, alignment plates 42a and 42b and the like and forms a sheet bundle made of a plurality of received sheets. Further, the CPU circuit part (800) controls the drive of the alignment plates 42a and 42b when ejecting sheet bundle S in a number exceeding the number of sheets that a stapler 44 can perform post-processing from a processing tray 46. Thereby, the sheet bundle S in a number exceeding the number of sheets that the stapler 44 can perform post-processing is shifted to a second discharge position different from a first discharge position when the bundle of the number of sheets that the stapler 44 can perform post-processing is discharged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
