Abstract:
To improve productivity when forming an image on both sides of a card.SOLUTION: An image forming device 1 includes a rotating unit F, a contact member 110, and a control unit. The rotating unit F is arranged with respect to a transfer unit B1 via a second transfer path P2 in a direction opposite to a card transfer direction Y, to flip front and back of a held card K. The contact member 110 is arranged around the rotating unit F, and can come into contact with a portion protruding from the rotating unit F of the card K partially held by the rotating unit F. When forming an image on both sides of the card K by the transfer unit B1, the control unit controls to carry the card K on the second transfer path P2 from the transfer unit B1 by a carrying device 200 in an opposite direction after forming the image on a first surface of the card K by the rotating unit F, and executes a bending mode for rotating the rotating unit F in a state in which a part of the carried card is held by the rotating unit F and the portion of the held card protruding from the rotating unit F is brought into contact with the contact member 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
