Abstract:
To provide an image forming device using an indirect recording method which can form an embossment, utilizing an ink ribbon and a transfer film.SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises: primary transfer means that transfers image components of continuous ink panels 41Y, 41M, 41C and 41Bk which an ink ribbon 41 has to an intermediate transfer medium 46; secondary transfer means that transfers an image component of the intermediate transfer medium 46 to a recording medium Ca; setting means that sets an embossment area E; residual area forming means that forms a residual area E in the intermediate transfer medium 46, on the basis of the embossment area E, using a peel-off panel 41I which the ink ribbon 41 has; and residual area transfer means that transfers the residual area E to the recording medium Ca.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
