Abstract:
To provide an image forming device using an ink ribbon that can prevent an image from being poorly formed to obtain a stable printing quality.SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises a thermal head, a platen roller and a peeling member. During transferring, the platen roller and the peeling member are arranged so as to grip a laminated product which the medium to be transferred and an ink ribbon are in contact with at a downstream part of the thermal head with respect to a conveying direction of the medium to be transferred. Further, in the image forming device comprising the thermal head, the platen roller, a guide member and the peeling member, the platen roller and the peeling member are arranged to be in contact with a surface at the medium to be transferred side of the laminated product which the medium to be transferred and the ink ribbon are in contact with. The guide member is arranged to be in contact with a surface at the ink ribbon side in the laminated product. The peeling member is in contact with a medium not to be transferred on a passage connecting the platen roller to the guide member or at the side closer to the ink ribbon side than the passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
