Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate the irregularity of image density and the unevenness of color developed in a specified pattern on a transferred image even in the case of applying optimum transfer electric field by electrically measuring the physical quantity of a transfer material at the time of performing paper feeding action in an image forming device.
CONSTITUTION: Electrode rollers 32 and 33 are provided on a paper feed path before a resist roller 6, and the roller 32 is connected to a power source 34 through a current measurement circuit 35 and a switch 101 or grounded, and the roller 33 is grounded. When the transfer material P butts against the resist roller 6 and stops, the switch 101 is connected to the power source 34 side and a current flows through the circuit 35, the roller 32, the transfer material P, the roller 33 and the ground, thereby measuring the value of the current flowing in the transfer material P. Successively, the switch 101 is connected to the ground side and the transfer material P is destaticized.
