PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device of an image forming device capable of facilitating countermeasure lowering electronic noise and forming an excellent image free from the occurrence of the high temp. offsetting and fixing defect by reducing the electronic noise such as a thermal ripple, and the noise terminal voltage.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with a fixing roller capable of turning, heating means for heating the fixing roller, temp. detecting means for detecting the surface temp. of the fixing roller, and temp. control means for controlling so that the fixing roller surface is held at a specified temp. by applying a specific electric power to the heating means, based on a detection signal from the temp. detecting means. In such a case, the temp. controlling means controls the temperature by successively detecting the temp. of the fixing roller during formation of the image by the temp. detecting means with a specific period and by increasing/decreasing the number of cycles in the unit of a half wave of the commercial power supply to control the electric power for supplying to the heating means within the period, in accordance with the error quantity between the specific reference temp. and the detected temp.
