Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device having an efficient reverse conveyance means with high productivity per unit time.
SOLUTION: In the image forming device having the reverse conveyance means capable of changing speed, the reverse conveyance means has a reverse roller pair, a conveyance path branch point, and at least two recording paper detecting sensors or the like. It is characterized by that the first recording paper detecting sensor detects a rear end of a recording paper sheet conveyed via the conveyance path branch point, the reverse roller pair is changed from normal rotation to reverse rotation when the rear end of the recording paper sheet passes the conveyance path branch point, the second recording paper detecting sensor arranged adjacent to the reverse roller pair detects the rear end of the recording paper sheet conveyed from the reverse roller pair, and the reverse roller pair is changed from reverse rotation to normal rotation when the rear end of the recording paper sheet passes the reverse roller pair.
