Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing catch-on of a unit-side positioning part of an exposure unit and a body-side positioning part of a body frame.SOLUTION: An exposure unit (an LED unit 40) includes a first unit-side positioning part 211 positioned in a sub-scanning direction with respect to a body frame, and a first engagement part 213 having a curved surface. A holding member (a holder 300) has a recessed first regulation part 350 in which the first engagement part 213 enters. The image forming apparatus is so configured that, when a cover is in an opened position, the first engagement part 213 enters inside the first regulation part 350 and the curved surface is supported by the first regulation part such that the movement of the first engagement part 213 in the sub-scanning direction is regulated and the exposure unit becomes swingable, with the first engagement part 213 used as a swinging center.
