Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which interference between a can body transported toward image forming means and the image forming means is avoided and besides, the can body can be arranged near the image forming means.SOLUTION: As shown in (A), a can body 10 is stopped below an inkjet head 170. Thereafter, a linear servo is driven and, thereby, as shown in (B), the can body 10 rises to directly under the inkjet head 170. Subsequently, ink is ejected from the inkjet head 170 and an image is formed image on the can body 10 (refer to (C)). Therein, when the image is formed, the can body 10 rotates in the circumferential direction. Subsequently, the linear servo is driven and, as shown in (D), the can body falls. Thereafter, as shown in (E), the can body 10 is moved toward the next inkjet head.
