Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which suppresses propagation of vibration generated when a folding perforation of the continuous paper passes through a conveyance roll, compared to such a structure that does not have an adsorption conveyance device which conveys continuous paper while adsorbing the continuous paper between a discharge section and the conveyance roll.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 has: a tractor mechanism 24 which inserts a pin 56 to a feed hole 2B provided on continuous paper 2 having a folding perforation 2A and conveys the continuous paper 2; a conveyance roll 28 which conveys the continuous paper 2 while sandwiching the continuous paper therebetween and has a set conveyance speed so as to impart a tension to the continuous paper 2 with respect to the conveyance speed of the tractor mechanism 24; a recording head 26 which is provided between the tractor mechanism 24 and the conveyance roll 28 and discharges an ink droplet to the continuous paper 2; and an adsorption conveyance device 64 which is provided between the recording head 26 and the conveyance roll 28 and conveys the continuous paper 2 while adsorbing the continuous paper.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
