Abstract:
To allow a post-processing device to temporarily store a recording sheet on which an image is formed before ejection without adding a new mechanism, to ensure confidentiality of a printed material.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 comprises: an image forming unit 12 that forms an image on a recording sheet; a post-processing device 20 that has a middle-folding unit 31 that performs middle-folding processing on the recording sheet on which the image is formed; input units (operation unit 52, communication unit 53) that receive input of instructions for storage and ejection of the recording sheet on which the image is formed; and a control unit 61 that, when the instructions for storage of the recording sheet on which the image is formed are input through the input units, stores the recording sheet in the middle-folding unit 31, and when the instructions for ejection of the recording sheet are input through the input units, ejects the recording sheet from the middle-folding unit 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
