Abstract:
To ensure a space for making full use of an image forming apparatus and efficiently use the space.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises: an image forming unit 7 that forms an image on a sheet; and a top plate 200 that is arranged above the image forming unit 7. The top plate 200 is formed to have a dimension in a width direction larger than that of the image forming unit 7 and arranged above the image forming unit 7 with a space therebetween, and has an overhead scanner 500 that is arranged in a lower space 300 below the top plate 200 and picks up an image of an object placed in the lower space 300. Below the top plate 200, the image forming unit 7 and the image forming module 100 are arranged closer to the left end (one end) 200L of the top plate 200 in a width direction (X-axis direction).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
