Abstract:
PURPOSE: To lower the amount of light near the optical axis of a laser beam.
CONSTITUTION: In a laser printer in which a semiconductor laser 11 for emitting laser beam 3 corresponding to image information, a collimator lenz 12 for converting the laser beam 3 into parallel light, a polygon mirror 13 for forming an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive body 1 by injecting the parallel light on the photosensitive body 1, and a developing device 4 to visualize the electrostatic latent image are provided, the center portion of the collimator lenz 12 is made thicker to use it as a light absorbing means for absorbing light near the optical axis of the laser beam 3.
