PURPOSE: To miniaturize a device provided with a carriage on which a fixing device is mounted in an image forming device performing printing by forming a toner image from a latent image on recording paper by a recording drum.

CONSTITUTION: The carriage 46 is constituted by fulcrum-coupling a processing part 51 obtained by arranging an electrifier 62, an exposure device 63, a developing roller 64 and a cleaner 65 around the recording drum 61, the fixing device 52 provided with a fixing roller 67 by coupling pins 53a and 53b on a slide member 50. A motor 66 and an eccentric cam 71 turned by the motor 66 are installed in the carriage 46, and the cam 71 is engaged with a withdrawing part 54 formed on the slide member 50 so as to withdraw the carriage 46.
