PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of obtaining an image which sufficiently satisfies fixing ability and which is excellent over a long term as the image forming device constituted by applying a fixing device equipped with a heating roller which is constituted by covering a metallic cylin der with 'Teflon(R)' tube and whose life can be prolonged.
CONSTITUTION: This image forming device is constituted by applying the fixing device 35 equipped with a heating roller 51 which is constituted by covering the metallic cylinder 80 with the 'Teflon(R)' tube 81 and by which a toner image T is melted on paper P, and a pressure roller 52 for pressing the paper P to the heating roller 51; and it is constituted so as to satisfy at least one of conditions that load between the heating roller 51 and the pressure roller 52 is ≥about 72.5N, the surface temperature of the roller 51 is ≥200°C, and the hardness of the roller 52 is ≤40°C in rubber hardness(ASKER-C system).
