In the image forming material obtained by disposing coating layers comprising at least an alkali-soluble thermoplastic resin layer and a photosensitive resin layer in this order on a support, a copolymer comprising monomers of formulae (a)-(c) is contained in at least one of the thermoplastic resin layer and the photosensitive resin layer. In the formulae, R01-R07 are each H or a 1-5C alkyl; R1 is a single bond or a linking group containing at least one selected from O, N and S; R2 is a single bond or a linking group containing at least one selected from C, O, N and S; n is an integer of 1-20; m is an integer of 2-14; and l is an integer of 0-10.
