PURPOSE: To enhance sensitivity, storage stability, etc., by using a photopolymn. initiator contg. an acyclic amine in an image forming material using a polymer binder contg. halogen., and adding a compd. contg. an epoxy group in a photosensitive layer.

CONSTITUTION: An intended image forming material is obtained by dissolving in a proper solvent, (A) a compd. having at least one photopolymerizable C-C double bond, such as pentaerythritol triacrylate, (B) a binder contg. a halogenated polymer, such as chlorinated PE, (C) a photopolymerization initiator, such as benzoin, contg. an acyclic amine, such as 4,4'-bis-dimethyl aminobenzophenone, and (D) a compd. having at least one epoxy group in one molecule, such as ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether, then coating a light transmitting support with the photosensitive soln. thus prepared, and drying it to form a photosensitive layer.
