Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress bleed-out of an inkjet ink and strike-through of an image and to achieve fast image formation.SOLUTION: An image forming method is provided, which includes: an application step of applying a first solvent on a recording medium; and an ejection step of ejecting an inkjet ink to deposit on the first solvent applied on the recording medium. The inkjet ink comprises a second solvent, a resin and a coloring material dissolved in the second solvent, and a third solvent. The first solvent can precipitate the resin when the inkjet ink is dropped; the second solvent is miscible with the first solvent; and the third solvent is miscible with the second solvent and can precipitate the resin.
