Abstract:
To provide an image forming method and an image forming apparatus that can increase a fixing speed.SOLUTION: An image forming method includes a transfer step and an application step. The transfer step includes transferring toner on a photoconductor drum to a sheet. The application step includes applying a fixing solution to the sheet to which the toner is transferred. The toner contains a first binder resin, a second binder resin, and a third binder resin. The first binder resin and second binder resin is a polyester resin, and the third binder resin is a composite resin of a polyester resin and an addition polymerization resin. The addition polymerization resin is an addition polymer of a raw material monomer including a styrene-based compound. The softening temperature of the third binder resin is lower than the sum of the product of the softening temperature of the first binder resin and the content ratio of the first binder resin and the product of the softening temperature of the second binder resin and the content ratio of the second binder resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
