In this image forming method where the edge of the cleaning blade abuts on the cylindrical organic photoreceptor on a condition that the vertically upper part of the center shaft of the organic photoreceptor is 0° and the center angle (β) of the cylinder of the organic photoreceptor is within ±30°, the ratio of the width of the photoreceptive layer of the organic photoreceptor to the length of a cylindrical conductive supporting body is 80/100 to 99/100, and the toner in a developing means incorporates toner particles whose shape coefficient is within 1.2 to 1.6 by ≥65 number %.
