Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method in which superior durability of members is ensured, image deterioration such as image running and vertical streaks on an image are hardly caused and the members are easily recycled and reutilized because of high durability.
SOLUTION: In the image forming method, an electrifying member is disposed in contact with an electrostatic charge image support and voltage generated by superimposing AC voltage on DC voltage is applied. The surface layer of the electrostatic charge image support comprises at least one specified polyarylate resin having a weight average molecular weight of 7.5×103-3.7×104 or at least one specified polycarbonate resin having a weight average molecular weight of 7.5×103-3.7×104. A developer support used has a film containing a solid lubricant and an electrically conducive agent in a bonding resin on the surface. The solid lubricant has 3-10 μm volume average particle diameter and has been classified in such a way that the coefficient A of variation of volume distribution satisfies A≤65.
