To provide an image forming method for a silver halide color photographic sensitive material free of the increase of fog and the deterioration of developed color density-gradation balance due to each change in development, excellent in the color tones of coloring dyes and in image stability and ensuring improved suitability to desilvering and improved processing stain, and to provide an image information forming method using the sensitive material.

In the image forming method in which the silver halide color photographic sensitive material having red-, green- and blue-sensitive layers and a non-photosensitive layer is color-developed to obtain a dye image, at least one of the photographic constituent layers contains a compound of formula (S) and the color development is carried out in the range of 95-120 sec.
