PURPOSE: To provide the toner which does not generate paper wrinkles and degradation of a resolution and has excellent fixability in a low nip pressure fixing system and the method for forming images by a low-nip pressure fixing system by using this toner.

CONSTITUTION: The toner is formed by incorporating a binder resin having 5 to 15g/10min melt index at 150°C therein and is used for the image forming method which fixes images under the low nip pressure of 0.01 to 0.5k/cm2. The toner is used in the developing stage of the image forming method having the developing stage for fixing the toner images by developing the latent images formed on a latent image holder by using the toner and a fixing stage for fixing the toner images onto a transfer material 6 and the images are fixed by using a fixing device of 0.01 to 0.5kg/cm2 nip pressure in this fixing stage.
