To provide an image forming method using electrostatic charge image developing toner by which a stable image is obtained over a long term.
In the image forming method including a process to form a latent image on an electrostatic latent image carrier, a process to develop the formed latent image with developer incorporating toner, a process to transfer a formed toner image to the other image carrier, a process to transfer a transferred toner image to an image forming supporting body and a process to fix a toner image formed on the image forming supporting body, the toner incorporates a resin and a colorant, and the toner is formed of toner particles whose coefficient of variation of a shape factor is ≤16% and whose coefficient of variation of the number in number particle size distribution is ≤27%, and the other image carrier is a cylindrical member having an electrode member contacting with its inner surface.
