Abstract:
To provide an image forming method using a photosensitive image recording material having small occurrence of interference fringes by having high sharpness.
The image forming method includes an exposure process for forming latent images by scanning and exposing the photosensitive image recording material having an image forming layer on one face of a transparent support and having a back layer on a reverse face to the image forming layer of the transparent support with laser lights L1-L3, and a developing process for visualizing the latent images by the development. The thickness dB of the back layer satisfies a specific mathematical expression including the minimum angle min out of incident angles S, B, E during scanning and exposing.
