Title:
IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3014072
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a sensitive drum from attachment of surplus toner when the image forming process is started and ended.
CONSTITUTION: When the image forming process is to be started, a bias voltage of +70V is impressed on a magnet roller 14, and a negatively charged toner on the magnet roller 14 does not attach to a sensitive drum 10. The surface of the drum 10 is charged at -330V, and then a bias voltage of -330V is impressed on the magnet roller 14. When thereafter the drum 10 is charged at -610V, an electrostatic latent image is formed by exposure of image information. This latent image is developed by the negatively charged toner being transported on the magnet roller. When the image forming process is ended, a bias voltage of +70V is impressed on the magnet roller 14, and the negatively charged toner on the magnet roller 14 does not attach to the drum 10.
