Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an image forming method by which a high-grade copied image having proper image density and no surface fog can stably be fed.
CONSTITUTION: In this image forming method utilizing a system in which an untransferred toner on a latent image carrier after development and transfer is recovered by cleaning and reused, a toner contg. polyester resin as a bonding resin and having inorg. fine particles of 30 to <100nm average particle diameter stuck to the surface is used. The polyester resin is obtd. by bringing polyol components including diol represented by formula I and polycarboxylic acid components including dicarboxylic acid represented by formula II or III or its anhydride and trimellitic acid or its anhydride into condensation polymn. In the formula I, R1 is 2-4C alkylene, each of (x) and (y) is an integer and the mean value of the sum of (x) and (y) is 2-16. In the formulae II, III, each of R2 and R3 is 4-20C hydrocarbon.
