Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a photosensitive body having an excellent preservability and to prevent cracking by a cleaning blade by using the photosensitive body contg. a specific polymer as a binder of the surface layer.
CONSTITUTION: The cleaning blade consisting of urethane rubber is pressed to the surface layer to clean the photosensitive body. The copolymer compd. essentially consisting of the repeating units expressed by formula I and formula II is incorporated as a binder resin into this surface layer. In the formulas I, II, R1, R2 denote hydrogen atom, a 1 to 6C substd. or unsubstd. alkyl group, a substd. or unsubstd. aryl group or a 4 to 10C cyclic hydrocarbon residual group to be formed by containing R1, R2, respectively; R3 to R6 denote hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a 1 to 6C substd. or unsubstd. alkyl group, a substd. or unsubstd. aryl group or a 4 to 10 cyclic hydrocarbon group, respectively; l, m, p, q denote a positive integer from 1 to 4. The electrophotographic sensitive body to be used in such a case is constituted by providing an org. photoconductive photosensitive layer on a conductive base body.
