Title:
IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3401629
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an image forming method by which toner existing on a photoreceptor and electrostatically charged is hardly deteriorated, the endurance characteristic thereof is excellent when it is repeatedly used and the filming thereof is not caused on the photoreceptor.
CONSTITUTION: The image forming method is constituted of an electrostatic charge process that the photoreceptor 36 is electrostatically charged, an exposure process that an electrostatic latent image is formed by exposing the electrostatically charged photoreceptor, a developing process that the electrostatic latent image is developed and a toner image is formed on the photoreceptor by bringing the toner 30 carried by a developer carrier 36 into contact with the surf ace of the photoreceptor, a transfer process that the toner image of the photoreceptor is transferred on a transfer material 38 and a developing synchronous cleaning process that the toner left on the photoreceptor after the transfer process is finished is recovered to the carrier 34. The contact angle of the surface of the photoreceptor 36 with respect to water is ≥85°. Then, the containing quantity of the residual monomer of the toner 30 is ≤1000ppm. Besides, the shape coefficient SF-1 thereof is 100-180 and the shape coefficient SF-2 thereof is 100-140.
