PURPOSE: To provide an image formation method that is capable of laminating two or more layers of toner stably and uniformly on a developer carrier and, what is more, with less filming as well, in a developing system forming a lot of minute closed electric fields in and around a surface of the developer carrier.
CONSTITUTION: In this method, it uses a toner 60, consisting of at least binder resin and a colorant, and containing a diamine compound selected from naphthylane-diamine, phenylanediamine, and both metallic complexes of phenylenediamine and cyclohexanediamine. A lot of minute closed electric fields are formed in and around the surface of a developer carrier 20 by having an electric charge selectively held on a surface of the developer carrier 20, while a component system developer consisting of the toner 60 is fed onto the carrier 20, having the developer carried on the surface of the carrier 20, and when this image forming method, making a static latent image into being visible, is used for the toner 60, it is achieved, thus a high density and quality picture image is second over a long period of time.
